TL;DR: We do not know who you are. There is no registration, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. Entries sync to our server depersonalised — they cannot be linked to a person.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Seggs Log is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe that intimate data is among the most personal information you can have, and it should remain entirely under your control.

Data We Don't Collect

Unlike most apps, we don't collect:

Your name, email, or phone number
Your location data
Analytics about how you use the app
Advertising identifiers

Where Your Data Lives

Entries live on your device and sync to our server — that is how they survive a lost phone, appear on a second device and become visible to your partner. On the server they sit depersonalised: no name, no email, no phone number, no date of birth beside them. Entries from one device are linked to each other, otherwise sync could not work, but they are linked to no person.

Partner Sync

If you choose to sync with a partner:

Data is encrypted end-to-end before transmission
We use a temporary relay server only to establish the initial connection
Once connected, data syncs directly between your devices
We cannot read or access your synced data

TOTP Authentication

Your Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) secret is:

Generated entirely on your device
Never transmitted to any server
Stored securely in your device's keychain/keystore

Crash Reports

If the app crashes, we may collect anonymous crash reports that contain:

Device type and OS version
App version
Stack trace (technical error information)

These reports never contain your personal data or log entries.

Third-Party Services

Seggs Log does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media services. We don't share any data with third parties.

Data Deletion

Deleting the app erases entries from the phone. The depersonalised copy on the server remains: it is tied to no person, so there is nothing for us to attach a deletion request to. There is no separate «erase everything from the server» action in the app. If you have synced with a partner, they keep their own copy of the shared entries.

Children's Privacy

Seggs Log is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
